The Auxiliary held a rally today outside the offices of NBC Channel 10 News to support Philadelphia Police. The news station recently aired an image that portrayed Philadelphia’s Finest, men and women who put their lives on the line every day, in a disrespectful and unflattering light. The incident is an affront of the highest magnitude to Philadelphia Police Officers, their families, and the citizens of our great city.
No one from Channel 10 came out to speak with us nor acknowledge our presence. Many thanks to the members who attended the rally, and all who called the news station to express their opposition to the disrespectful image that was broadcast throughout the area.
